We’re an indie game and software development studio on the Canadian west coast. We’re currently bustin’ it to get to the finish line on our first (ridiculously large, in hindsight) project: BigFly Baseball. We also do some other 3D software work on the side. Here’s the skinny on our team:

I started programming at age 13, creating simple 2D games in the same vein as ‘Scorched Earth’ and ‘Heavy Weapon’. In that I found my passion, and have been cranking codes obsessively ever since. I have a degree in Computer Engineering and have worked professionally in software for 10 years, both as a developer and manager. After leading teams through several multi-million dollar software projects at a major CAD sofware company, I felt that it was time to move on. I can now focus on creating games people can enjoy playing as much as I enjoy creating them! Current personal goal: Achieve job description of ‘Code Hero!’ |
Childhood: baseball, hockey, video games, lego. University: computer programming, making grave social sacrifices to play and/or make maps for Quake3 in my bath robe. Adulthood: software work in various industries, all 3D & graphics related. For me, starting this company (and making BigFly Baseball) is a wonderful culmination of all the stuff I’ve spent all my time doing! My ambition for us as a company is to create something awesome enough to justify having black & white stylized photos of ourselves on our webpage. |

Having worked for 10 years at BioWare Corp., working on RPG greats like Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age, I decided to strike out on my own and try something new. Since then I’ve worked as a game art contractor, a graphic designer and have started my own games company called Cedar Hill Games Inc. which has released two excellent and original titles. In short, I add graphical pizzazz and some industry know-how to the team! Now I just need to get used to the ‘speakers-to-eleven’ air guitar celebrations when we complete milestones… |
